Bota Systems Brings Next-Level Haptic Tech to Robotics Summit

March 25, 2025

Exciting news for robotics enthusiasts and professionals—Bota Systems is gearing up to showcase its latest advancements in force sensing technology at the Robotics Summit & Expo. This top-tier event for innovators in the robotics field is happening from April 30 to May 1, 2025, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. You’ll find Bota Systems at Booth 538, where they’re ready to introduce you to their groundbreaking force-torque sensing solutions.

One of the highlights is the Bota FT Stack, a sophisticated platform that’s all about making robotic interactions safer and more precise. It combines a range of sensing technologies, covering everything from end-of-arm to foot, torque, and tactile sensing, all designed for diverse robotic applications.

For the first time, you can experience haptic teleoperation using the Kinova Gen3. This hands-on demonstration is a must-see. “We’re thrilled to present our most advanced force sensing stack,” says Klajd Lika, CEO of Bota Systems. He emphasizes its potential in developing cost-effective AI models for robotics OEMs, developers, integrators, and end-users.

Lika is also set to give a talk on April 30, titled “Advancing Robot Learning with Force Sensing & Physical Intelligence.” He’ll delve into how force and torque sensing are crucial for boosting robot control and AI-driven learning.

The Robotics Summit & Expo is expected to draw over 5,000 industry professionals, showcasing the latest in motion control, AI, sensing, software development, and humanoid technology. With more than 200 exhibitors, over 50 educational sessions, and five keynotes, it’s an event you don’t want to miss if you’re shaping the future of robotics.

Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the ETH Robotic Systems Lab, Bota Systems calls Zurich, Switzerland home. They specialize in multi-axis force-torque sensors, aiming to give machines a sense of touch, so robots can interact as naturally and safely as humans do.
