Google has rolled out its experimental AI Mode globally, setting the stage for a search experience that’s both intuitive and engaging. Previously limited to the U.S., U.K., and India, this upgrade now reaches 180 additional countries, with plans to support even more languages and regions soon.
One of the standout features is the new agentic functionality. You can now book restaurant reservations – complete with details like party size, date, time, and cuisine – and soon you’ll be able to secure local services and event tickets as well. This service is available to subscribers of Google AI Ultra through Google’s Labs experimental initiative.
Personalisation is also getting a boost. If you’re looking for a quick lunch suggestion, for example, AI Mode draws on your past interactions to tailor recommendations that might suit your taste for Italian cuisine or a preference for outdoor seating. You can adjust these settings via your Google Account, keeping your search results exactly how you like them.
The update doesn’t stop there. A new ‘Share’ button lets you send AI-generated responses directly to friends or colleagues, making it easy to collaborate on everything from travel plans to social events. This thoughtful addition is designed to bring a bit more ease and flexibility to your everyday tasks.
If you’ve ever found standard search responses too generic or rigid, Google’s refreshed AI Mode offers a refreshing alternative—one that feels more like working with a knowledgeable friend.
