Apple’s Health App to Feature AI Coach for Personalized Health Guidance

April 3, 2025

Apple is reportedly giving its Health app a significant upgrade by introducing an AI coach that offers personalized health advice. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this new feature aims to guide you towards a healthier lifestyle by using data from your medical devices. If everything goes as planned, you can expect to see this AI coach roll out with iOS 19.4, potentially hitting your devices in the spring or summer of 2026.

Originally, this AI-driven feature was reported in 2023, and it’s now making great strides. The AI coach will integrate food tracking and other health metrics to deliver advice that’s tailored just for you. Right now, Apple is busy training the AI with data from their team of staff physicians. They’re also planning to bring in more medical professionals to help create health-related videos.

This new service, which Apple is tentatively calling Health+, highlights the company’s dedication to advancing digital health solutions. By leveraging AI, Apple aims to offer you a more interactive and informative health management experience. It’s all about making health management more accessible and engaging for everyone.
