On May 6, SpaceX is set to propel another batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low-Earth orbit. This mission, launching 28 satellites from Cape Canaveral’s Space Launch Complex 40, adds another exciting chapter to SpaceX’s history.
This launch marks the 470th flight of the Falcon 9. Once in orbit, the new satellites will join more than 7,300 Starlink V2 Minis already circling the Earth. The Falcon 9’s first stage, tail number 1085, embarks on its seventh journey and is expected to land on the drone ship ‘Just Read The Instructions’ in the Atlantic—registering its 442nd overall landing and 119th on this very vessel.
